Shah Rukh Khan’s Most Inspiring Speech On Receiving The ‘Doctorate’ At Edinburgh University: Ladies and Gentlemen, It is indeed an honour for me to receive this doctorate today. “Humbled” is a word often used by people in my profession. I dislike the hypocritically obsequious connotation of it in these contexts so I’m not going to use it, but I will say that such occasions have a way of putting me right in my place!
