  • Himesh Reshammiya gave Deepika her first break. Before her Bollywood debut, Deepika Padukone starred in a Himesh Reshammiya music video titled, 'Naam Hai Tera'. It was in this video that Farah Khan noticed her.

  • Om Shanti Om was not supposed to be her first Hindi film. Farah Khan had originally signed Deepika for Happy New Year but the movie got shelved so she signed her for Om Shanti Om. From what we can tell, things worked out better for Deepika this way.

The car was based on a Toyota MR2 (1991 model) with a mid-engined, rear-wheel drive layout and a full cab-forward design.   This car was first re-modelled and showcased at the 2002 Auto Expo in New Delhi, in the form of the DC Infidel showcasing DC’s design capabilities to the Europeans especially. For me, even today DC Infidel looks like a thoroughbred sportscar and is one of DC’s best creations.
